How do I know if I have a rodent problem?
Rodents
are great at hiding, but they leave clues. Look for droppings (rice-size for mice; larger, capsule-shaped for rats), gnaw marks on food bags or wood, and scratching or scampering sounds at night in walls, ceilings, or floors. You may see shredded paper, insulation, or fabric used as nesting material, or greasy rub marks where oily fur brushes along baseboards and pipes. Musty, stale odors in hidden spots—pantries, crawl spaces, attics—can signal an established nest. Outside, burrows near foundations, sheds, or compost are another red flag. Pets often notice first; if a dog or cat keeps staring at a cabinet or a wall, pay attention. Because rodents reproduce quickly, small issues can become big fast. If you are seeing any signs, act now. We will perform a full interior and exterior inspection to confirm whether it’s mice or rats, map where they are entering, and identify what is attracting them. Then we will build a customized plan to remove the current population and block new ones from getting in. Prefer a quick answer?
