Dublin

Dublin: City of Great Opportunities!
Dublin is known for setting high expectations when it comes to delivering the best for its community and visitors. Given the city's moderate political views, world-class school system, and general suburban vibe, it's no surprise that this city of nearly 45,000 is consistently listed as one of the best places to live in Ohio.

Locals are mostly upwardly mobile, young, married, and employed citizenry, more than half of whom have children living in homes they own. During the day, the city's population can soar to greater than 60,000 people, between residents and corporate citizens.

The result of quality development, key planning, and a commitment to attracting and preserving the best in commercial development, Dublin's economic vitality is strong and growing stronger every year.

Work Hard
Proud to be the home to some of the world's most recognized brands, Cardinal Health, Nationwide Insurance and Wendy’s to name a few, Dublin is quick to acknowledge the equally important small and medium-sized business (of which there are nearly 3,000) which provide a vast range of products and services to this diverse community. Delaware, Shawnee, and Wyandot Native American tribes were among the first to inhabitant the area that would one day become Dublin, Ohio. Just 20 minutes NW of the sprawling city of Columbus, and surrounding the Scioto River, Dublin was incorporated in 1881 but didn't officially become a city until 1987.

Dublin works hard to preserve its historical past, both native and immigrant, understanding that these cultures run deep in the community, enriching the city for everyone. This commitment is evidenced everywhere, from the pristine architecture of the early nineteenth century to century-old dry-laid limestone fences that border their roads, and the many original buildings that still survive and are included in the National Registry of Historic Places.

Play Hard
From the historic Abbey Theatre to the breathtaking views from the 800-foot pedestrian bridge (and the rapidly expanding nightlife scene in the area), to more than 60 developed parks, there's always something fun waiting for you in Dublin.

If you're lucky enough to be in town July 31 through August 2, don't miss the award-winning Dublin Irish Festival. Last year's event featured 65 acts and more than 535 performers! Music, Irish sporting competitions, arts and crafts, and of course - lots of amazing Irish food, bring in more than 100,000 attendees each year.
