Centerburg Pest Control

A stone's throw away from Mount Vernon, Centerburg, has been growing in the smack-dab center of Ohio since 1834. It's a cultural center, too, thanks to its proximity to other hubs like Amish Country and the capital, Columbus. Centerburg itself has plenty to do and see right in town, though, with the entire village lined with historic buildings, and festivals happening every season to celebrate the wonderful community.

Since Centerburg is such a central location, people often pass through on their way to the capital. In the 1800s, they traveled by stagecoach, and that eventually switched to the railroad – developments that are all commemorated in the Centerburg Historical Mural. You can pass the same railroad tracks that contributed so much to Centerburg's growth while on the Heart of Ohio bike path to Mount Liberty.

One of those celebrations you won't want to miss is called the Heart of Ohio Festival. Under the warm June sun, visitors enjoy small rides, gorge on fair food, listen to local bands, check out the awesome car show, and try as much apple cider as they like! And in September, come to the beautiful, tree-lined Memorial Park for the Oldtime Farming Festival where you can learn about the history of farming and how important it is to our community.

If you like farmer's markets, you'll have to stop by Veggies and Eggs by Dan. The family-run farm grows some of the most beautiful produce you can find in Ohio, and fantastic free-range eggs that beat anything you'll find in a grocery store.

For breakfast, stop by The Burg Cafe on Main Street, another local joint owned and operated by a family of proud Centerburgians. Whether you're a pastry for breakfast type of person, or more interested in sausage gravy, we know you'll leave that delightful little nook completely satisfied.

If you're looking for an excellent place to watch the big game, you'll want to check out 1834 Midway Tavern on Clayton Street. The Tavern serves up classic bar food, and has some surprises on the menu, like grouper bites and buffalo shrimp. They also have specials every day of the week and serve up ice-cold beer.

If pizza and subs are more your thing, no joint says "Centerburg" more than Pizzaburg Pizza on Hartford Ave. And if you don't want to choose between those two options, there's no need to settle: order the Sub Pizza – it's an Italian sub, but in pizza form. Or maybe the taco pizza would be more your style!

When the weather gets a little warmer, you may want to take some time to enjoy the outdoors in a casual setting, and head to the golf course. We've got plenty to choose from! Table Rock Golf Club is a beautiful family-owned facility that doesn't break the bank to visit. Or if you're looking for a more competitive vibe for your tee time, you can visit Mike and Diana Chambers at Wyandot Golf – that couple met and got engaged at the golf course and have owned it since 2016!
